Why creating AR@?
AR@ was born from a simple yet profound idea: to create a vibrant online community space where sustainable artisans and crafters could not only thrive but also showcase their talents to eco-conscious consumers. At AR@, we have taken it a step further by introducing an Auction Gallery where bidders compete to acquire one-of-a-kind pieces crafted with love and care for our planet.
The inspiration behind our name, AR@, stems from the slang Egyptian term meaning "three or more R letters." This reflects our mission of bringing together a diverse group of artisans who are united by their commitment to sustainability. To add a touch of whimsy to our brand, our logo features a painter rat, symbolizing how anyone, even a rat, can play a part in transforming trash into treasures.
AR@ aims to be more than just an online auction gallery; it is a celebration of craftsmanship, sustainability, and community.

What was the goal of the Green Hand competition?
Our goal was to discover creatives who already follow environmentally sustainable practices in their creative process to give them the recognition they deserve, auction their pieces and show them how much their creations are valued, but our ultimate mission is to help them reach the success that encourage others to follow their footsteps. If you came to our latest auction, you must’ve been as blown away as we did with their creativity and talent.
About the CONTEST
The Green Hand Award presents sustainable masterpieces that breathe new life into pre-loved treasures. Do your creations embody the spirit of "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle"?
Participate at auction to show our ECO Remakers the appreciation they deserve and join the movement that celebrates artistic and environmental responsibility.
Accepted Pieces
We made sure that all accepted pieces were made with love and care for our beloved planet, by asking the Remakers to submit a picture of the material used, for the process, along with the final piece.
Prizes
Remakers of the winning pieces receive recognition, prizes including, 10-15 minutes on a famous podcast and FREE features on the upcoming platform.
Most Importantly, their, and all other accepted (sustainably made) pieces, will have the chance to be Re-appreciated at (maybe) your home, office, or even as a special gift to a special someone.
The Auction
The award ceremony Included a silent auction as well, on all accepted piece and Live classical auction on top 3 pieces. Remakers sat their starting price, and they got the full hammer price. Thank you for supporting them, as 10 out of 12 pieces got sold.
You also get to Choose winner Number 4 tonight !!
People’s choice award was granted according to the highest number of bids, on the silent auction pieces.

That’s also fine, there is no obligation, to list an item or to participate in an auction, you just get early access before anyone else, and we use your feedback to perfect our solution depending on your needs.

If you are one of the artists who participated in the Green Hand Award then YES! on of your prizes is 3 or 6 months (depending if you won one of top 4 prizes). If not, we will only need 30 minutes twice a week of your time to ask you about your experience.

We plan to host The Green Hand Award annually, the goal of this first edition, was to find eco conscious makers, award them and build our solution around their specific needs. But we enjoyed the journey of discovery for your talents, and we want to make it a habit
